Resumen

This research addresses learning in virtual environments, one of the challenges in education in these times of pandemic, mainly in subjects in which the activities address a significant percentage. The design and application of an Ecology activity guide, in which we use some geographic information systems available to students, such as Google Earth, which allows us to introduce ourselves to cartography, which is so important for the Ecology course; and some applications that we find on smartphones that can measure some physical parameters. The work proposed in some activities is easily developed at home, a small environment could serve as a laboratory for carrying out simple but significant activities for learning and raising awareness about environmental problems, as well as for urban ecological alternatives. Likewise, teaching in virtual environments, such as some methodological aspects, and management of resources in the Moodle Platform in the development of the Ecology course, can set precedents to be able to carry out teaching-learning processes and adapt them to states of blended learning, even preparing tutorials in our subjects or the use of simulators that can complement the learning of Natural Sciences. Then, based on the proposed categories, we check the degree of satisfaction in terms of the versatility, methodologies and time spent by the students, as well as the use of these resources with the teachers.
